07 July 2010 CATEGORY: EuroMaint Industry, Nyhet

EuroMaint Industry is closing its local office in Detroit, USA, which will be closed at the end of August.

The company will continue to offer its services and the IPV concept internationally, initially from Sweden but also through establishing partnerships.

In 2007, EuroMaint Industry acquired the IPV* technology from Veri-Tek in the USA.  Linked to the acquisition, the company established a local office in Detroit.

During recent years, EuroMaint Industry has successfully developed the technology for the IPV concept and the concept is being sold to several customers in countries including the USA, Sweden and India. However, new business has not been created to the extent that is required to enable the running of an independent local office in Detroit. At the same time, the business has been affected by the prevailing recession. Therefore, the local office in Detroit will close 31 August this year.

* IPV (In Process Verification) is a measurement and analysis method for the successive quality assurance of products in a manufacturing process.
