Enviromental policy

Our environmental policy sets the framework for the company’s environmental work.

According to the policy, Euromaint Rail’s environmental work must:

  • Lead to continuous improvements in the industry’s impact on the environment.
  • Be characterised by an overall view based on internal requirements and the requirements of stakeholders, EU and Swedish legislation within the area of the environment, and based on what is technically possible, economically sustainable, environmentally motivated and commercially viable.
  • Ensure that demands are made of the maintenance partners’ environmental impacts when purchasing goods and services.
  • Minimise the likelihood of environmentally related risks occurring as a consequence of a change in operations, product or services through risk analysis/evaluation.
  • Ensure that the employees are always aware of, and observe environmentally related aspects of their work.
  • Inform and train employees so that they are involved in and motivated by the environmental work.
