Euromaint Rail in Oberhausen is a full-service workshop for the maintenance, overhaul and refurbishment of freight cars. We improve our customers’ competitiveness by improving the reliability, availability and service life of their rolling stock.
We offer our customers assistance with, among other things:
- Maintenance – preventive and remedial measures
- Overhaul of freight cars and tank cars for mineral oil, pressure gas and chemicals
- Refurbishment and adaptation of freight cars – from design to implementation
- Repairs, testing and reprocessing of high-cost components such as bogies and wheels
- Material control using tests which are not destructive to the materials, for example, ultrasound
- Painting
- Internal and external industrial cleaning of freight cars and tank cars
- Pressure gas emptying and cleaning
There are several mobile service teams at the workshop in Oberhausen which carry out quick and corrective repairs on-site. The mobile units work trackside or at strategic loading sites in southern Germany and in neighbouring countries.
Central location and service station in Ingolstadt
The workshop in Oberhausen has existed since 1948 and its central location in the vicinity of Nuremberg, Augsburg, Regensburg and Munich is a logistical advantage for our customers. The workshop has 150 employees and a production area of 14,000 square metres, along with 10 km of track.
The workshop in Oberhausen is equipped with one of the most modern industrial cleaning facilities for pressure gas, chemical and mineral oil tank cars in Europe. The workshop is also equipped with a biological water purification facility.
Our service station in Ingolstadt gives us greater flexibility and proximity to our customers. We have access to a workshop of 1,250 square metres and four trenches, each of which is 31 metres long.
