SJ has commissioned EuroMaint Rail to maintain the 42 double-deckers that are currently used for regional transport in Mälardalen.

SJ's double decker came into service in between 2003-2006 and today operates on the Stockholm-Västerås-Örebro-Eskilstuna-Gävle routes. More than 500.000 passengers travel on the trains every month.

Qualified technical maintenance contributes to vehicle reliability and availability, and ultimately to customer satisfaction," says Claes Broström, head of the Vehicle Division at SJ.
EuroMaint Rail takes over the maintenance of X40 on February 1.
